Our values

For generations, we’ve stayed true to what matters most to us at Waldesruh: being down-to-earth, staying close to our guests and feeling deeply connected to Ochsengarten. These are the values we continue to live by today.

Waldesruh has been family-run for generations. With genuine warmth and Tyrolean hospitality, we welcome you to Ochsengarten.

The history of Hotel Waldesruh
A house with history
A mountain village lies in a green valley below forested slopes and snow-covered peaks. A snow-covered building labeled pension and inn stands in winter in front of the forest.

How did a small bed-and-breakfast become today’s Waldesruh? Since 1969, our house has grown step by step. Join us on a journey through the key milestones and generations of our history.

Gathering in the Jägerstube

In the Jägerstube, we love spending time with our guests. We eat, laugh, play and share stories together. These relaxed evenings are simply part of Waldesruh. Pull up a chair. The more, the merrier!
